They have gone the way of Cain (Genesis 4:3-8) – served God according to his desires, convenience
They have rushed headlong into the error of Balaam (Numbers 22) – pursued the things (riches) of this life
They have perished in the rebellion of Korah (Numbers 16) – thought of himself more highly than he ought to have thought
The fate of such persons (Jude 12-15)
What should we do?
- Remember these warnings (v. 17-19)
- Build up your faith (v. 20)
- Keep yourselves in the love of God (v. 21)
- Strengthen and save others (v. 22-23)
