Wonderful Counselor
- Jesus is the great teacher (Matthew 7:28-29)
- His message is of divine origin (John 12:49-50)
- His words lead to eternal life (John 5:24; 6:68)
Mighty God
- Power of Jesus displayed in Creation (Romans 1:20; Colossians 1:16)
- While on earth, Jesus demonstrated power over creation (Matthew 8:26-27)
- The deity of Christ (Matthew 1:23; Colossians 2:9)
Eternal Father
- Jesus was not a created being — He was in the beginning with God (John 1:1-2)
- Why is He called “Father”? … He was one with the Father (John 10:30) and showed us the Father (John 1:18; 14:8-10)
Prince of Peace
- Jesus is head over His government (Isaiah 9:6-7)
- He came to bring peace — peace with God (Ephesians 2:14-16), peace among brethren (Luke 2:14), but not peace with the world (Matthew 10:34-36)
