Excuses the servants could have given for not obeying Jesus:
We Think It Won’t Work – God’s ways are wiser than ours (1 Corinthians 1:25)
We Think It Isn’t Necessary – It is not up to us to determine what is or is not necessary (Matthew 28:18)
It Is Not What We Are Used to Doing – Our traditions are not more important than God’s instructions (Matthew 15:6)
We Want to Wait and See What Others Say – Jesus is our Master and Judge (Matthew 28:18; 2 Corinthians 5:10), not anyone else
